Frio River Near Leaky, Texas

We drove our Mini Cooper S on a day trip to Texas Hill Country from our Austin Home Base during the spring wildflower season in 2014. We stopped in Medina, Texas for a tasty burger in the Patio Cafe at Love Creek Orchards, then we headed west to Leaky, Texas and took this photo on Highway 337 just east of Leaky. We finished our day with great German food in Fredericksburg at Der Lindenbaum Restaurant. Thenext day we toured the Museum of the Pacific War, a must-see place.
